Refrigerator/Freezer Recycling

Must be a Loveland Water and Power electric customer. We can only accept working refrigerators/freezer and unit must be plugged in at time of pickup. Other terms and conditions apply.

Program: Loveland Water and Power

Toilets

Must be a Loveland Water and Power water customer. Qualifying toilet must be 1.1 gallons per flush (gpf) or less. Dual flush toilets must have an average of 1.1 gpf or less (see website for info on how to calculate a dual flush average). Toilet must be WaterSense labeled and have a MAP score (flushing strength) of 600 or higher. Home must be built prior to January 1, 1994 to qualify. Customers are encouraged to recycle their old toilet for free at the City of Loveland Recycling Center located at 400 N. Wilson Avenue.

Smart Thermostats (Instant Rebate)

Must be a Loveland Water and Power electric customer. Buy through the Efficiency Works Store to receive an instant rebate on the purchase of a smart thermostat.

Smart Thermostats (Submit a Receipt)

Must be a Loveland Water and Power electric customer. Thermostat must be ENERGY STAR certified. Customers can also purchae smart thermostats through the Efficiency Works Store).

50% of the purchase price, up to $75 rebate

Limit 1 per customer per calendar year.*

* Exception: Mysa smart thermostat for baseboard heaters limit is 4 per customer per 2-year period.

Night Sky Fixtures

Must be a Loveland Water and Power electric customer. Fixture must be ENERGY STAR certified. Fixture must have the following: fully integrated LED, 3000 Kelvin or less, fully shielded.

50% of the purchase price, up to $25 rebate

Smart Irrigation Controllers

Must be a Loveland Water and Power water customer. Controller must be WaterSense labeled. Customer must have a completed a Slow the Flow sprinkler consultation in the last two calendar years.
